Insurance claims
What happens next.
Most homeowners have never filed a roof claim. Here is the whole process.
1
Free roof inspection
No obligation, typically within two weeks. You don’t need to be home.
2
If it needs replacing
With your approval we contact your insurer to file. Your premium doesn’t change.
3
Their adjuster inspects
Your insurer sends their own adjuster. We’re there with our documentation.
4
Claim approved
If it’s a covered loss they approve it and issue compensation.
5
Payment issued
Sometimes in installments. Your mortgage company may need to endorse the check.
6
Shingles chosen, roof built
We review options with you and schedule the work.
A claim cannot and will not be made without your insurance adjuster’s approval. If your roof is a covered loss, the only out-of-pocket expense to you is your homeowner’s deductible.

The honest part
Old isn’t damaged.
- A worn-out roof usually isn’t a covered loss. Storm damage often is.
- The inspection tells you which one you have, free either way.
- We’re roofers, not your insurer. The decision is always theirs.
